One of the earliest knots in recorded history is the popular Hercules knot. The knot of Hercules or Love Knot, was created by two intertwined ropes, and it is mostly known for its use in Ancient Greece and Rome to be a protective amulet , most notably as a wedding symbol. This custom is the likely origin of the phrase “tying the knot”.
It features three rows of smooth black leather cords with an engraved sterling silver clasp to hold them in place. The unique rope knot station in the front is etched with a free flow design in sterling silver with darkened crevices.
Handmade Triple Row Leather Bracelet with Silver Engraved Station.
